This was my first time photographing a wedding at The Barns at Lodge Farm in Epping and I instantly knew it was going to be somewhere I wanted to come back to. I’m such a fan of the character of a working farm as a wedding venue. The Barns at Lodge Farm is the perfect mix of rustic with an industrial edge, surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of opportunity to make it your own. The staff are also wonderful and the venue is very well run. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue in or around Essex I would definitely recommend the Barns at Lodge Farm, Epping.
Keziah and Simon had chosen a pink theme for the day which is never a bad idea in my opinion! They did nearly all of the decor themselves, signage, flowers and decoration with Keziah’s talented sister providing creative direction and floral arrangements. There is something particularly special about a wedding that feels like it has been lovingly pieced together by friends and family. When there is love in all the little details, you can feel it running through the threads of the whole day. And there was nothing about this day that I didn’t love!
